History has taught me to be a better friend & educator. I don’t believe in letting go of the past, as the past has shaped who we are & how we live. While we may believe we have all the choices in the world, we are restricted by systems & attitudes that we dont think about enough.

We reaffirmed our roles at the Dexter Ave King Memorial Baptist Church where we attended the Sunday Worship Service - the very same church where MLK was pastor for 6 years & led the organization of the Montgomery Bus Boycott. #martinlutherkingjr #mlk #montgomerybusboycott
