/6 #COVID19 key concern in 🇨🇦 right now is the introduction of the virus into enclosed settings and vulnerable communities where people at high-risk of severe outcomes reside. We MUST #ProtecttheVulnerable

/6 🇨🇦 has a number of ongoing outbreaks in long-term care homes and #COVID19 cases in First Nations (Ontario, Saskatchewan), Inuit communities (Nunavik, Quebec) and a corrections facility (Ontario). #StayHomeSaveLives #ProtecttheVulnerable

/6 These highly populated settings accelerate spread of #COVID19 and are deeply troubling because they quickly lead to outbreaks among those at high-risk, resulting in severe illness and death. #StayHomeSaveLives #ProtecttheVulnerable

/6 ALL AGES are at risk of #COVID19! In 🇨🇦, younger adults also experience severe illness, w/ 10% of reported hospitalizations occurring in adults under 40 years. Sadly, the death of a person in their 30s was reported just yesterday. #SlowtheSpread #PlanktheCurve

/6 As #COVID19 cases continue to ↑ across 🇨🇦, at any point in time, there will be many people under investigation, awaiting laboratory results, or not yet tested. #StayInsideYourBubble #SlowtheSpread #PhysicalDistancing

/6 Even if you are not hearing of #COVID19 cases in your community, it doesn’t mean there are no cases or that there are no exposures waiting to happen. #StayHomeSaveLives #ProtecttheVulnerable #PhysicalDistancing
