Our collective commitments now, plant the seeds and provide a blueprint for massive divestment from our militarized police force and reinvestment in community-based public safety #solutions. Phase 2 of this work begins in just 7 weeks. /3
Undoing HUNDREDS of years of a system rooted in institutionalized racism, will take time. This is not a moment but a movement. And the movement for justice and change must keep the pressure on us to deliver on these long-term commitments. /4
