The @UNFPA Population Data Fellows Program is building the next generation of population data scientists to strengthen integrated population data systems at country, regional + global levels. This cohort is focused on advancing gender transformative CRVS systems around the world!
Fellows are placed within UNFPA headquarters, regional and country offices, mentored by UNFPA technical staff and are fully integrated into ConVERGE technical assistance work with CRVS authorities and National Statistics Offices.
The cohort of @UNFPA Population Data Fellows is actively supported by UNFPA Division of Human Resources and @unv with learning opportunities, professional mentoring, and career development support.
This fellowship programme seeks to build a pipeline of new talent to channel the expertise + commitment of young population data scientists towards some of the most important CRVS + gender issues. A joint commitment of @UNFPA, @CanadaDev, @IDRC_CRDI + @UNVolunteers
