During the #COVID-19 pandemic, India is becoming #AtmaNirbhar under the guidance of Hon’ble PM. My Ministry has launched two Schemes of #PMSVANidhi & Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHCs).
This is in line with #AtmaNirbharBharatAbhiyan.
Both these Schemes will provide Ease of Living & Business to major sections of the society, migrants & street vendors & bring them into the mainstream economy by providing services at the most affordable costs.
Under #PMSVANidhi, working capital loans are being provided to street vendors vending on or before 24 March 2020 & whose businesses were impacted by the lockdown. Digital transactions aggregators will play an important role in bringing street vendors into the digital economy.
As part of the ARHCs Scheme, migrants to the city will be provided housing facilities near their workplaces. The vacant public/ private land or government funded vacant housing complexes will be used for this purpose to create a win-win-win situation for all the stakeholders.
