If 250 #SDF oil guards graduated from @CJTFOIR training each month from April to June, there would be at least 750 fighters to guard the oil fields
But per @DoD_IG report, as of end of June, "approximately 50 to 60 percent of the required guard force had been trained"
Each trained guard is issued an #AK47 & charged w/standing watch, doing mobile patrols
@CJTFOIR told @DoD_IG the oil guards are also being prepared to respond to sabotage
Money for the training & equipment comes from the Counter-ISIS Train and Equip Fund, per @DoD_IG
