Speaking of the virus. 3 more schools in our area have outbreaks due to families who claimed 'rights' & sent their kids without masks. Now there's dozens of kids & teachers in quarantine b/c 3 of those maskless families now have #covid19.

B/c these schools also have special needs kids, I've taken on the 'job' of sewing masks to ensure the safety & well being of these oh so fragile lil ones. So...I'll be offline again for a while - not sure how long, but I will pop on to check on you all.

All I ask of you, my peeps is...be mindful. We wear masks to keep others from getting ill & it's our job to protect those that are frail, elderly or who are immune compromised in our areas.

For my peeps who've sewn or are getting ready to sew masks again this fall. I've been waiting for these to arrive for my "kids". They're 5 layer meltblown filters. Hopefully between the pellon, the polypropylene & these filters, they'll all stay healthy!
