Recognizing the history of racial discrimination in USDA’s core farming programs, Democrats will continue the reform efforts started under the Obama-Biden Administration to ensure USDA takes a more proactive approach to supporting training and resources for farmers of color. 4/14

#Democrats will grow the nation’s biofuels manufacturing sector, including by strengthening the Renewable Fuel Standard, supporting E15 blends, and supporting research, development, and deployment of advanced biofuels. 9/14 #Biofuels

America’s #farmworkers are essential to our economy, our communities, and our security. 11/14

#Democrats will enforce labor & environmental protections for farmworkers, including overtime & safety rules protecting workers from exposure to pesticides and extreme heat, and ensure farmworkers are able to exercise their right to bargain collectively. 12/14
