GERRETSEN could have briefly and clearly asserted his need for adequate time to review

the Motion and also to caucus with his #LPC colleagues.
INSTEAD, had he been able to confine himself to a succinct assertion he would've avoided succumbing to frustration [17:57:13] and losing his temper with @ToddDohertyMP [17:45:44], impatience with the process [17:51:46]

and ultimately making much of it personal: "Instead it's an intentional attempt «TO BLINDSIDE ME» and that is what I find to be the absolute most offensive part". [17:59:07] & "«I ... HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY SLIGHTED» by the manner in which this was sprung on us" [17:48:26].

For some time, local media has had a reticence to cover anything negative about @MarkGerretsen.
SO WHEN a parliamentary committee "blows up" (@hollyanndoan) and our local MP was (large) part of the conflagration ... ??
