πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ With all the chatter about RUSSIA! / UKRAINE! it's hard to keep facts straight, so I'm keeping an eye out for *unusual* aircraft movements that I can identify, so I can try to make a meaningful, reliable contribution, without using someone else's bouncy dash-cam footage.

What was yesterday?
Easter Sunday.
Do you know who works in the Canadian federal govt on a holiday?
Not many people, but the Canadian Forces are still flying; that's pretty normal, they don't take many breaks.

However, an RCAF CC-144 was flying; THAT'S not normal for a holiday.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Royal Canadian Air Force CC-144D Challenger 144620 flew from Ottawa to #CFBBagotville to #RAFLuton on Friday 2021-04-02.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Royal Canadian Air Force CC-144D Challenger 144620, continuing the same mission, flew to the Athens International Airport and returned to #RAFLuton, having only spent an hour on the ground in #Greece; picking someone up? πŸ€”

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Royal Canadian Air Force CC-144D Challenger 144620, on Easter Sunday, flew from #RAFLuton πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§, to Colorado Springs πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, aka #NORAD HQ.
Same callsign = same mission; and no pit-stop in Ottawa. 🀨

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ I suspect multiple officers on the trip. With scant evidence, I suspect one of two; #RCAF Major-General Eric Kenny, the Commander of 1 CAD or RCAF Lieutenant-General Alain Pelletier, the deputy commander of #NORAD. Maybe neither? Well, whoever; they're still at NORAD HQ now 🧐

...but who or what was picked up / dropped off by the #RCAF in Athens? How does that tie into meetings in the UK, and zooming back to NORAD on Easter Sunday, if not for someone who is very senior, Canadian, and at NORAD. πŸ€”

WAY OUT THERE SPECULATION AHEAD πŸ‘‡

What other than talking to #NATO allies about the situation in Ukraine makes one travel on Easter weekend, away from your family? I don't believe anyone schedules a low priority, in-person, meeting on Easter weekend; am I way out there?

Yes, I will take the beatings for seeing Luton on the map, and slapping an RAF ahead of it, because it sounded familiar... Whoops.

They obviously landed at London Luton Airport. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
