1/ @DrTedros, recently accused the 'IC' of being racist for paying more attention to #Ukraine.
We (@Qnie_Addis & @Kings_of_Nile) analysed his tweets, RTs & likes starting from Oct 2021. Given his pronouncements, what we found was quite revealing.
2/ When you pay close attention to his Twitter activity, despite his protestations, #Tigray predominate his TL. He sometimes tweets, RTs or likes up to 8 Tigray related tweets per day! He has tweeted, RTd or liked tweets mentioning Tigray 208 times over the past 23 months!
3/ What about #Yemen you ask? And #Syria? Surely, the man who claims to be the conscience of the world would tweet incessantly about these humanitarian crises that had been raging for years. Nope! In reality, they are occasionally invoked only to accompany #Ukraine and Tigray.
4/ Unsurprisingly, Tigray is a fixture in his TL, accounting for 5-10% of his weekly Twitter activity. But surely, he will also tweet about #Amhara & #Afar being decimated by TPLF. After all, it is not as if he is a raging tribalist, right? Well you are in for a big surprise! 👇🏾
5/ His activism actually intensified after TPLF was pushed out of most of Amhara and Afar. He played the role of chief propagandist to a t; giving his TPLF colleagues a much needed cover, as they commit unspeakable atrocities against Amhara & Afar while holding Tigrayans hostage.
6/ What about the destruction of 2000+ health facilities in Amhara & Afar? Surely, at least the @WHO's Surveillance System for Attcaks on Health Care (SSA) would definitely capture these incidents, right? Sadly, NO!
To this day the SSA puts the number of attacks on health care in Ethiopia at 0 while attacks on Ukranian health facilities are recorded meticulously. How anti racist of Tedros?!
7/ we also zoomed in and looked at his twitter activity in the week of TPLFs most recent invasion of Amhara.
8/ @DrTedros, who has been tweeting and retweeting about Tigray feverishly the past 10+ months, went radio silent re Tigray in the days leading up to August 24. Between August 20 & 24, he tweeted only once! On August 24, TPLF launched its invasion of Amhara region.
9/ It was as if he knew what his TPLF colleagues were up to or was part of the decision to launch the attack. 🤔🤔

10/ In peak irony, the man who accused the caucasian world of paying more attention to Ukraine, actually tweeted,RTd & liked tweets about the region where he hails from more times than #Ukraine, #Syria and #Yemen........COMBINED!
You just can't make this up!
