How fake news has been deployed by the Pak and Islamists in #Leicester to generate the victim-hood narrative, while simultaneously unleashing violence on others over the past few weeks.

Leicester: A case study

First Claim: The narrative of how ‘Racist Hindus’ provoking Muslims, was widely shared on social media by several Islamist handles.

Fact: Videos circulated on social media were of a mob shouting ‘Allah hu Akbar’.

Second Claim: Racist Hindu mob raised anti-Islam slogans on streets was widely shared by Islamists & local media (without any evidence).

Fact: Mob was shouting slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ & ‘Jai Shri Ram’ to protest the violence against them, indicating no communal angle.

Third Claim: Another claim that Hindu mobs #vandalised the local mosque while shouting anti-Islamic slogans was widely circulated on social media.

Fact: Police confirmed that no such incident took place. Instead, Indian flags were vandalised by Islamists previously.

Fourth Claim: An Indian youth tried kidnapping a Muslim school girl. Local media fell for that fake news seeded on social media.

Fact: Leicester Police confirmed that the incident didn't take place. In fact, Islamists attacked Indians & local police with knives.

What’s the playbook?

Inciting communal unrest by seeding fabricated narratives & sharing fake news, & under that cover, to unleash #violence; at the same time play the victim card while giving it a communal angle.

The ulterior agenda:

Hindu vs Muslim narrative was just a ploy. The real victims under the target of #Islamists were Indians. Is it surprising, that of all Indians, it was the youth with the #Indian flag on his car who was framed for the fake incident!

And it was effective...

Most Indians who put tricolour after #HarGharTiranga campaign on their houses and cars were forced to remove it. Several such instances of violence against Indians were reported, orchestrated by the Pak groups & Islamist mobs in #Leicestershire.

Who was behind it?
The handle @Majstar7 was proactive throughout the incident & played a key role in giving it communal touch to cause unrest where Indians were targeted.
Going through his tweets, we found how #Pakistanis were constantly amplifying his agenda.

Every Islamist invariably is linked with terrorism:
Case in point, #Majid was exposed for promoting and supporting the members & subsidiaries groups of #AlQaeda.

Majid also works for an #organization ‘One Nation’ & does fundraiser projects for them. One Nation’s founder Arshad Patel was arrested during the investigations of the July 5, 2005 London bombings. While his sister was the wife of one of the suicide bombers in the attack.

The SOP deployed was successful into harassment campaign by Pak & Islamist groups to silence the Indians living abroad. With the aid of staged #Fakenews on social media, all that was required was to continue hammering the communal perspective.
