#Taliban's new #appointments include an acting Minister for Education, several provincial governors&deputy governors, provincial police chiefs& few other positions.
Among them, Makhdom Alem& Mawlawi Najibullah, are 2 suspected names which I think belong to the 2 controversial TB.
Here is the list of the TB's #appointments in English:
1. Mawlawi Habibullah Agha, the ex-Chairman of Kandahar Ulama Council, appointed as acting Minister of Education.
2. Ex-acting Minister of Education, Sheikh Mawlawi Noorullah Munir, as General Director of Central Dar-ul-Ifta.
3. Sheikh Mawlawi Maluk Shah, former Director of the Central Dar-ul-Ifta, as new head of the Ulama Council of Kandahar.
4. Mawlawi Faizullah Jamal, Ex-Deputy Minister of Policy and Strategy for the Ministry of Interior, as Deputy Minister of Procurement for the same Ministry...
5. Mawlawi Mohammad Mohsen Hashemi, Ex-Deputy Minister of Interior (Procurement), as #governor of #Panjshir.
6. Ex-governor of Panjshir Mullah Muhammad Shoaib Akhund as governor of Logar.
7. Ex-governor of Logar, Mawlawi Inayatullah Shuja, as deputy governor of the same province.
8. Ex-member of Qatar political office Mawlawi Zia-ur Rahman Madani, as governor of #Takhar.
9. Qari Mohammad Ismail Rasekh, ex-governor of Takhar, as police chief of Jawzjan province.
10. Ex-police chief of Laghman, Mawlawi Faisal Mukhtar as deputy governor of Nuristan Province.
11. #Makhdoom_Alem as the police chief of Ghazni province.
12. Mawlawi #Najibullah_Badakhshi as police chief of Laghman Province.
13. The former chief of police for district 7 of Kandahar city, Mawlawi Noor-ul-Baqi Ahmad, as commissioner for Spin Boldak commissionary in Kandahar.
The newly appointed Police Chief for Ghazni, #Makhdoom_Alem, an #Uzbek TB commander, was arrested by the IEA in Jan. 2022, on suspicion of involvement in a kidnapping case. His arrest resulted in violent #demonstrations in the north of AFG.

Mawlawi Najibullah Badakhshi/Raghi, the newly appointed police chief for Laghman, is also a controversial Tajik Taliban commander from Badakhshan who was arrested (&kept in Kabul& Kandahar), on accusation of stealing some Gold of the IEA, when he was responsible for mines in BDK.
Mawlawi Habibullah Agha the newly appointed acting Minister of Education is also reportedly against the reopening of girls schools above the grade 6.
I am not sure if he is the same Sheikh Habibullah, who was the mentor of Sheikh Hebatullah Akhundzada (& against girls education).
