All the sun and rain have made the nasturtiums go crazy again. I can’t harvest for more pesto because there just isn’t room in the freezer #lockdownladygardening ☀️ 🌧

What is this self-seeded pansy so upset about? #LockdownLadygardening
Big Bad Cat brought in a birdie 😡 killed it very theatrically in front of me like he’s Salt Bae or something 🙄 so I take it out to bury it. But I stop to inspect the compost heap and he steals while my back is turned. There he is, licking his chops ffs 🐈⬛ #LockdownLadygardening
One solitary rose left🌹but buds are already there for the spring. I love how nature lets you know it’s going to wake up again before it goes to sleep #LockdownLadygardening

Got nothing in the tank at the moment [“the moment”! ha! 🙄] but yesterday I made myself go out and clear leaves. Even planted some violas. Within 5mins of starting sweeping, a little Robin appeared and kept me company. Too dark for photos so here is a gif #LockdownLadygardening

This looks like a sparrow, but I admit that I’m not good at identifying these little brown garden friends. He’s either very pleased to see his reflection, or determined to see it off #LockdownLadygardening
Here are my crocuses in last week’s snow. It’s fuzzy bc I didn’t want to go out in me slippers #LockdownLadygardening meanwhile indoors, all sorts of things are shooting up: some kind of decorative allium, a new phalaenopsis leaf, and a sprout on the emerald feather fern 🌱
Today we have this gorgeous clutch of crocuses, some very excited tulips, more hyacinths than I was expecting, and the start of the muscari march (they’re everywhere). #LockdownLadygardening Last year I dug up a lot of bulbs and randomly redistributed them so it’s all surprises!
