How I use @DEXToolsApp for finding new gems.
An overview ๐งต ๐
The first thing that I always check when looking for new #crypto gems on @DEXToolsApp are Daily Gainers/Losers and Hot Pairs in the front page. The platform automatically highlights #tokens that have had an interesting price action!
After checking these features that allow you to quickly find interesting tokens I start to do a more detailed search using custom filters. It's a very powerful tool that allows you to search in detail and according to your own criteria!
You can find custom filters in the main page of @DEXToolsApp (DEXTboard), you only have to connect your wallet and you can start creating your personalized filters!
Thanks to this tool you can set up a big amount of filters like:
- Token Type
- Chain
- Exchange
- Total Liquidity
- Volume (24H)
- Swaps (24H)
- Market Cap
- DEXTScore (Reliability Score)
- Contract
- Pool Creation Date
You can set up an unlimited number of custom filters for building strategies that fit your needs. It puts you in front of a lot of new #tokens that you probably wouldn't have found otherwise!
Personally I use two different set up for finding new #Gems that I called:
- Degen Gem Finder
- Safe Gem Finder
The first one has a very high risk profile while the second one has a lower risk profile.
Let's speak about Degen Gem Finder!
I use this set up for finding risky plays with a low investment, always looking for the next #1000xgem !
This is the set up:
I don't hide tokens without social networks (maybe they're late adding them), no minimum selected for reliability score just in case it's a new #coin that need to build its score up and contract without warnings bc I dont want to risk my hard earned money!
Once you have set up your search filters, a list of tokens to be analysed will appear. In this case I have put them in ascending order by market cap. Once I have identified a token with good values, I deepen the search with further information like team, whitepaper ecc
The second set up is Safe Gem Finder!
I use this set up for finding low risk plays. The goal is to find high value tokens where I can start making a DCA with a long-term investment perspective.
This is the set up:
As you can see there are different values for liquidity & market cap, audited contracts and a reliability score higher than 50! This approach is much safer with a lower profit expectation than the first case.
I hope this thread will be useful to many people, always remember that it is important to research in depth and not just focus on a few pieces of information! #DYOR
