2\ #Israel's police itself has posted that they arrested the shooter's parents on the same night & sealed their home for punitive demolition!
That doesn't stop Israel from lying so blatantly to dehumanize Palestinians & legitimize further oppressing them!
3\ Today, an #Israeli court extended the arrest of the Jerusalem shooter's mom until Tuesday.
So they knew she wasn't the woman in the video handing out candy & "celebrating," but lied anyway to score some cheap points!
4\ The #Jerusalem shooter's father was arrested & released the next day at am4:00 after long interrogations. His mom remains in detention.
The father can be seen here looking devastated (not celebrating!). He said had no idea his son was going to do this.
5\ The footage source is the local outlet Safa. It states the name with unambiguous clarity: Raed Abu Saif's mom in Jenin.
Yet, #Israel's government has been falsely circulating that video widely as the Jerusalem shooter's mom, whom they had under arrest this whole time!
6\ #Israel has just admitted they lied!
They quietly deleted the false footage & issued a timid correction that still insists that Palestinian mothers "indoctrinate" their kids to become "terrorists."
This "correction" received ZERO coverage in international media.
