#Thread: Thoughts before #btw17: While the campaign has been slow and “boring”, tomorrow could bring fundamental change for Germany.

#Merkel will rule another four years. By definition this means nothing much will change in #Germany. And therein lies the problem.

So her coalition partner will be crucial. If it’s another #GroKo, I predict we will see beginning of Germany’s decline over next four years.

If it is a #Jamaika coalition, we might just have the chance to move crucial projects and reforms forward, making Germany ready for future.

Smaller parties will play a crucial role, not just in forming a coalition but in driving Germany’s agenda over the next few years.

Serious problem for conservatives but they’re doomed anyway (at least temporarily) once Merkel is gone.

So, tomorrow, look at @fdp, @Die_Gruenen, @dieLinke & @AfD. They will decide Germany’s future. To a lesser extent now but just wait 4 years.
