1/ This clip dovetails many aspects of what I’ve been speculating for quite some time. I think it makes sense to update my views in light of the IG report. Note he says he has purposely stayed out of DOJ decisions to avoid the optics that he is interfering.
2/ It’s been clear to me since the beginning that Trump knew Sessions would recuse or at a minimum that there was a high potential he would. In the environment he appointed Rosenstein AAG. Not a crony, not an ally. No, a non partisan independent actor.
3/ In his comments yesterday Trump acknowledges he set it up in the way he did to keep the media from being able to say that he was interfering. It has been a conscious choice. But he also says he could interfere at any time. This is where Pruitt is key.
4/ A crucial question we have to ask as a result of the IG report, and the revelation of the “we’ll stop him” text, is who knew of these texts and when did they know it. Was Comey aware before Trump won that they existed? Did Rosenstein know before suggesting Trump fire Comey?
5/ Whether Comey knew of the existence of the “we’ll stop him” text goes to state of mind. Go back to the Oval Office the day before Comey walks into Trump Tower. If Comey knows of the text then he knows there’s proof his FBI did not do things by the book.
6/ Comey also knows the rest of the Obama team intends to spring a trap on Trump. He wrote it into his memo. So of the people in the Oval Office that day Comey is the only one that will be serving the new POTUS. Yet they send him to Trump Tower. If he knows of the texts...DANGER!
7/ For now I’ll move on. Trump is inaugurated and quickly the DOJ/FBI cabal springs into action and takes out Flynn. Strzok follows through on his threat. Now it’s not just a text. It’s real actions taken against Trump’s administration. If Comey knows of the texts...DANGER!
8/ If you know of the texts and now have real actions taken after Trump is POTUS how do you deal with this internal treasonous corruption while not interfering with the Russia investigation? Answer: You need to extract the investigation from the FBI. A SC.
9/ Once “we’ll stop him” & “insurance policy” conspirators take actions after inauguration, they spring the trap. Rosenstein advises Trump to fire Comey, Trump fires Comey, Comey leeks his memos and Rosenstein names Mueller SC. The FBI conspirators lose the Russia investigation.
10/ As many have mentioned, one of the peculiarities of the steps in the trap was Trump meeting with Mueller the day before he became SC. Was he read into the sting trap? Was he informed that the lead investigator had sent texts implying he wanted a coup?

cnn.com/2017/06/13/pol…
11/ Yesterday Trump kept explaining that he’s not afraid of any of this because he didn’t do anything wrong. So he hired effective people. Set them on their task. Gave them a wide berth. But also set a mechanism in case they went off the rails.
12/ So what’s next? Trump gives Mueller an interview. Why? Because crucial to the prosecution of the plotters is that first they complete the investigation confirming Trump did not engage in collusion or obstruction. #CleanBillOfHealth
13/ Don’t misinterpret, I’m not saying Trump is controlling everything. I’m saying it’s likely, especially in light of the IG report and the texts, that the investigators have been aware of the bias at the heart of the investigation from the beginning. That has driven the action.
14/ Trump also makes it clear that at some point he may get involved in DOJ. I speculate that that time is soon. Following the interview we will see Mueller write his report on collusion and obstruction. Once it’s clear Trump is cleared the prosecution phase will pick up speed.
15/ At that point we will see turnover at DOJ. It’s not coincidental that Trump mentions how effective State is under Pompeo. It’s a model for what is to come. You’re going to wake up one morning and Jeff will be out and DOJ will have it’s version of Pompeo in NK.

#SuddenAction
17/ That’s what I got for now.

Enjoy your Saturday.

Respectfully @GlennJacobsTN, what are you doing?!?

I don’t want to hear about how you think Judge Greer is wrong or how you disagree with him.

Not good enough!

You are letting a federal judge intervene in your county and do damage to our kids.

Enough is enough!

1/5
.@GlennJacobsTN it’s time to throw the weight of the county government behind non-compliance. Support any employee of your county that refuses to comply.

Left wing mayors refuse to comply with immigration laws every day!

Why are you allowing harm to our kids?!?

2/5
Force their hand. Give a speech ASAP explaining the righteousness of non-compliance with an order forcing your county to harm our children on a false premise that it is required by ADA.

You’re losing the confidence of your constituents.

We need strength not weakness!

For those of you saying that civilians near an ISIS leader deserved to die or that their death is their own fault, your knee jerk point of view is mostly a function of long term exposure to neocon political theory.
Until you know what the imminent threat was that drove the decision to launch this attack yesterday, it is impossible to know whether the killing of civilians was a worthy trade off to killing a leader of ISIS.
If the position is that killing leaders of ISIS is of such importance and value that civilian death is always an acceptable trade off then these attacks should be much more frequent.

Pardon my French but fuck all of these people.

Not those that died. Of course. I mean the absolute hacks manipulating people’s emotions for the last year because they hated Donald Trump.

F every last one of them.
The facts are actually even more skewed than the CDC Director described. Because of those 75% of people with four comorbidities, 80% or more were ice 80 years old.

So the Covid death rate for those healthy and under 60 was basically zero. Extraordinarily small.
Because when they talk about the overall death rate, in every age bracket, they include those that were extremely ill already. Once you strip away the morbidly obese and those with four comorbidities the “true” death rate is basically zero.

@SuitableAlias Here’s the better analogy.

A company has brought a product to market called vax-bestos. They claim it insulates and prevents fires. Benefits that will clearly save lives in the short term. The FDA approved this product based on short term studies.
@SuitableAlias As a result, this product has been put in buildings everywhere. One expert has concerns that there is potential that vax-bestos could cause cancer but since there are no long term studies it is impossible to know if this line voice is correct.
@SuitableAlias Instead of allowing this lone voice, an unquestioned expert in carcinology, the central authorities (Twitter) decide it is too dangerous in the short term to let people die of fires or cold and, since this sole voice may create skepticism leading to death, they ban him.
