Awesome. FTR the defedant is under no obligation to present evidence in a criminal trial. The burden for the prosecution is to prove the defendant's guilt 'beyond a reasonable doubt'. This is a much greater burden than what a plaintiff must prove in a civil action which -
is usually 'a preponderance of the evidence' or more likely than not the defendant is liable for plaintiff's loss. Judge Ellis will now charge (instruct) the jury on the law and present a verdict sheet for the jurors to deliberate with and render their verdict on. />
Add.; The parties render their closing arguments prior to the jury getting charged and deliberating. Government goes first.
