1. I am sick and tired of the hypocrisy of the BJP/Sangh Parivar's double-speak on temples in general and Sabarimala in particular. They were fully behind the attempt to break tradition and made a U-turn when they saw the Hindu backlash. Short thread documenting their hypocrisy
2. Here is RSS' Bhaiyyaji Joshi saying clearly that he and the Sangh support the entry of women
3. An old report from the Indian Express: "No reason to ban women from Sabarimala: RSS"
4. Again in 2016 the RSS calls for the tradition to be broken and women of all age groups be allowed into the temple and the sanctity of the Kshetram be destroyed: "RSS backs women's entry in temples, says unfair traditions should be discarded" news18.com/news/india/rss…
5. RSS leaders actually moved SC in 2006, seeking entry of all women into Sabarimala

6. When their Kerala wing supported those who were trying to preserve tradition those in Nagpur actually snubbed them: english.manoramaonline.com/news/kerala/rs…
7. There were many who saw through their double-game and called them out for their hypocrisy: medium.com/@Praveenstonea…
The RSS reiterated its stand again in 2016 pushing for the breaking of the Sabarimala tradition: english.mathrubhumi.com/news/kerala/wo…
9. And when they saw the Hindu backlash and the ground slipping from under their feet they backtracked: news18.com/news/india/rss…
10. Now they are milking it for all it is worth trying to position themselves as saviours of Dharma when in fact they were hand-in-glove with those who were trying to break it in the first place
11. Sabarimala will be the Ayodhya of the South for the Sangh - keep milking it but do nothing about it. Hindus are merely vote banks. Sooner Hindus realize this & hold the BJP/Sangh accountable the better
12. Since the RSS still wants to examine the reasons for the tradition at Sabarimala, here is an old blog I wrote on the many overlooked aspects of the Sabarimala traditions: thecuratedlifeblog.wordpress.com/2017/12/01/an-…
