On Sat there will be a #HimToo rally in Portland. The event, organized by a local conservative young woman, is meant to bring attention to men who have been falsely accused of sex crimes. Antifa, Democratic Socialists of America, etc planning mass protest. oregonlive.com/portland/index…

This is the mild event description for the Portland #HimToo event. In response, Portland’s far left has chosen to rage and claim this is an event for misogyny, racism, and fascism.

I was assaulted by a mob of masked individuals in black. They also targeted my equipment. They called me a fascist & Islamophobe. They said my parents & grandparents would be ashamed of me. It feels surreal to be treated this way by people who don’t even know me.

I'm home now. I feel a bit rattled by the experience. I've had things thrown at me before but today I was surrounded, cursed, & pushed by antifa. @PortlandPolice stood by.

As soon as I entered Chapman Square in downtown Portland at approximately 1:40 pm, I was accosted & pushed around by masked agitators.

"Your parents would be embarrassed by you--and your grandparents--who have been oppressed by white men throughout history. You should be ashamed of yourself."

"This city f—king hates you." "Look at how pathetic you are." "That's an expensive camera equipment you got there." "He's a loser with no friends." "He's an Islamophobe." "Nobody in this city likes you." "You have no friends." "Thank God you got all these cops around, huh?"

Police eventually rushed in to push protesters back to get them further away from the #HimToo rally (in the adjacent plaza). They shouted in response: "Cops and Klan work hand-in-hand." #Antifa

A large group of #antifa protesters encircled me. After I am pushed away, a masked woman sprays my camera equipment & myself w/wet silly string. They then play music & laugh. I want to file a harassment report with @PortlandPolice but the assailant's identity is unknown.

"You're a little anti-Islamic fascist." "Get the f— in your cage." "He hangs out with rape apologists." Masked individuals continued to follow me across the plaza, tried to trip me, & used their signs to box me in.

It was difficult for me to get inside the actual #HimToo event until this point. A woman talked about how she was able to overcome the trauma from rape when she was a teen. She explained why her life experiences now make her a defender of men.

After the #HimToo event was over, antifa went around the barricades on the other side of the plaza to cut off the group as they were dispersing. Police tried their best to keep them apart.

#Antifa started to throw projectiles. Police launched a flash-bang grenade before a brawl could break out.

#Antifa mob started kicking and punching people who were walking away. I don't know where the police were at this point.

Hannah McClintock, the woman in yellow with #antifa, repeatedly spit at a man & hurled punches at him. I had witnessed her trying to fight people over & over. She was one among six people who were arrested.

.@PortlandPolice released details from yesterday's protest: "Officers observed sticks, glass bottles, lit road flares, bottles filled with a substance believed to be urine, & gopher gas used as projectiles." I witnessed those weapons coming from antifa. portlandoregon.gov/police/news/re…

Yesterday’s chaos has convinced me that Portland must consider an ordinance banning masks at rallies. The city’s lack of authority has emboldened extremists to exploit ways to maximize criminal activity & harassment with impunity. cc: Mayor @tedwheeler.

Portland Police visited my home to speak with me. I was told they could not file a report of assault because I had no bodily injury. They also said they couldn’t file a harassment report because the assailants’ identities are unknown (due to the masks).

I have uploaded my full footage from yesterday’s #antifa clash in downtown Portland on YouTube. The video includes additional content, like my interaction with Portland Police.

Portland Police just looked on & then walked away after I asked for help. Intervening, I was told, would create a “flashpoint.” This policy is why protesters were able to commandeer the streets last month & attack an elderly driver.

Hannah McClintock, the antifa woman in yellow seen spitting on & punching people in the video, is not facing criminal charges. She theoretically could within the next year but that is highly unlikely. #Portland webportal.courts.oregon.gov/portal/Home/Da…
