Exceptionally popular writing (of any kind!) will rarely be very accessible and good for the reader. It’s possible, but rare.

Who is to blame for the wild success of terrible books, music, films, tv shows, food, etc? Individuals for making poor choices, producers for creating harmful goods, publishers for publishing it, marketers for cultivating desires for what is harmful, institutions, churches, ....
