If you want to afford travel, don't sleep on referral codes! It's one of the easiest(and only) ways to save on travel costs.
It's a win-win for everyone. Here's a thread of hotel, transportation, etc. sites/referral codes that you can stack up for major discounts:
Hotels, airlines, etc. hardly ever run sales. So, like I said, this such a simple way to save on those travel costs.
You get a discount upon sign up. When you invite a friend, you BOTH get a discount. You can plan a whole group trip using referral codes.
Everybody eats.
First, let's talk accommodation. @HotelTonight is an app with discounted hotels around the world. So, you already getting a discount.
Then, they offer $25 off if you sign up via referral code. Then you can invite a friend & both get $25 off. Here's a code: CIJOHNSON22
We gotta discuss @Airbnb. They offer one of the biggest discounts in the travel game. $45 off with a referral and you can stack these up to save on rental homes, tours, photography experiences, cooking classes, etc. hosted by locals around the world. airbnb.com/c/cjohnson3271
Booking.com is another hotel booking site where you get 10% off when you sign up via referral. When someone signs up under your referral? You get $25 back on your CREDIT CARD. Unheard of.
Hotels.com, another hotel booking site. You get $50 off when you sign up via referral. When you invite someone via your referral code, you BOTH get $50 off refer.hotels.com/x/aXpGvy
An EASY $100 discount on hotels around the world.
You won't find too many flight/airline companies that have referral programs, BUT @StudentUniverse does.
You get $20 off on sign up and both of you get $20 off whenever they sign up. Keep it circulating.
Ever heard of @Ebates? It's basically a plug-in that gives you cash back for shopping on certain websites. They have travel websites like Expedia & others . This one is just a good way to save but you get $25 when a friend signs up.They get $10. ebates.com/r/HEYCIA2?eeid…
Then there's @Eatwith, where you can basically sign up to have meals with local cooks around the world. Give/get $12 off per $105 meal with a host.

.@Withlocals is another site where you can book tours with local hosts from things like walking tours in Paris or day trips in Turkey. $30 off on sign up and you know the rest.
If you're looking for luggage, awaytravel.com has some of the smartest luggage out there, with portable chargers, 360 wheels, lifetime warranty, etc. Give $20, get $20.
Finally, theres @honey . It's not necessarily travel related, but then again it is. Automatic transfers into a savings account that you can use as a travel fund. I use it and I hardly notice when the $ is removed from my account. joinhoney.com/ref/n5bs2ec
Get $5 when you give it.
And that's pretty much it. One of the easiest ways to save a quite a bit on travel costs, especially shorter trips. Like I said, everybody eats.
Stack these up & you basically have yourself a cute little weekend trip. Enjoy!

Ladies, please ALWAYS check the license plate before getting into an Uber. A car pulled up(happened to be same car) & hurriedly threw my suitcase in his trunk - b4 I was able to see the plate. I stood there & waited to see the plate. I see it’s the wrong car. He says…
He says “I wish it wasn’t the wrong car.” 🤔 Then quickly takes my luggage out the car. I’m legitimately confused and then notice my actual Uber behind me.
I tell my Uber driver what happened & he says this happens often. Men drive around and hope women won’t pay attention.
Thank GOD I was paying attention enough to check the plate to get in the car. And the guy was so seemingly nice. Didn’t “seem” creepy at all.
He saw my actual Uber driver and I speaking and he then drove off, which means he wasn’t actually there to pick up anyone.
