...because we're not playing around in 2020
Basically, it’s a poster or visual of your goals and desires.
Many people create them using poster boards, printed photos, and magazine cutouts.
Why create one? It works. Visualization is powerful.

I figured it would be best to create one and set it as my phone background so that I would always be aware/reminded of my goals.
I created mine for free on
@canva
. As a blogger, this is how I create all of my graphics for free.
You can even create a board on
or even a ‘saved’ folder on
since they’re both very visual.
Write them out, then base your vision board on that.
What do you want? Where do you want to go?
More importantly, why?
Your ‘WHY’ will help you to keep going.
What areas do you want to improve most?
I focused on
Travel
Careers/Finances
Health(Physical & Mental)
Relationships
You can create one for each area or put them all on a single board.
Use
@tumblr
@googlephotos etc. to find photos that capture what you want.
You can also use quotes if words resonate with you.
A vision board isn’t magic. It’s simply motivation.
Things won’t fall into your life.
For example, saying ‘I want to travel’ is not enough.
Create an action plan.
How you gonna travel without researching costs, saving, scheduling time off, etc.?
Ok, so in relation to travel: what's the problem? Time? Money? Fear of the unknown? Flaky friends?
Time: bit.ly/2unolJ1
Money: bit.ly/36pK9Sw
Flaky Friends: bit.ly/303KY13
How will you solve these problems?
Remind yourself what you're working towards.
Refer back to it daily, weekly, etc.
Remind yourself what it will feel like when you accomplish these goals.
This is why it’s good to have it as the background of your phone or in sight
This is key. First, be grateful for where you’re at.
Anytime you make progress, do a lil happy dance. Find a way to celebrate the small wins and inches towards progress.
What you focus on grows.
There are no rules. Have fun with it. Think beyond your current circumstances.
I created my vision board in mid-January last year. It’s not too late. Arrange a few hours to focus on your goals.
Wanna travel in 2020? I gotchu.
