I love how these anonymous GOP lawmakers are all of a sudden saying they don’t think Trump will complete his term as if he hasn’t already committed numerous impeachable offenses or it hasn’t been within their power to remove his unfit, treasonous ass ever since 1/20/17.
Trump was always going to end up leaving office in disgrace, whether he did it prematurely or as scheduled, which is why it’s even more egregiously negligent and stupid that the GOP hitched its wagon to him in the first place. Don’t ever let them wash off his stink.
The GOP never factored in the possibility of being held accountable for unleashing and enabling Trump. The sociopathy and privilege aren’t surprising from them at all, but their persistent hubris/denial as things come crashing down is quite stunning.

Essentially what the cowardly anonymous Republicans are saying is they haven’t taken one shred of the allegations against him seriously and instead prefer to live in a fantasy land where Trump isn’t really the crooked sociopath everyone already knows he’s been his entire life.
Seriously, the man has publicly LIED ~6500 times in ~2 years, if the GOP still believes every word Trump’s told them re: Russia despite the numerous indictments the Mueller probe’s produced thus far, they deserve to crash and burn right along w/him just for sheer stupidity.

The GOP had all the same info we’ve had about Trump/Russia AND MORE since long before they gave him their funky nomination. They don’t get to pretend this shit is all brand new to them just because he got caught by the authorities. They were fine w/it bc they benefited from it.

The MSM needs to stop indulging the GOP’s fake handwringing and just start investigating and publicizing how many Congressional Rs used propaganda from the Russian cyberattack and/or treason money funneled by the NRA in their campaigns. Learn from Mueller, follow the damn money.
