It is difficult to explain in tweets but there is a clear path to fascism linked to the path of capitalism. And what we are seeing on the streets is evidence of that. It is to do with the scale of business, the increased amount of power in corporate hands vs Nation State. 1/
Put it this way if small companies complain about regulations that stop them exploiting customers the regs won't change, but if a huge multinational with revenue of a small country complains they can change regs, change policy, change gov 2/
And in the last 30 yrs we have seen an unprecedented increase in scale of business and size of company. We can relate this to the Big Bang in the financial markets, allowing the use of complex trading instruments to support extraordinary M&A activity creating corporate giants 3/
It not just that but increasingly derivatives have allowed wealth to be "created" far in excess of the assets of which they are derived. Ergo, manufactured corporate wealth based in derived values outstrips Nation State wealth generally based on resource wealth 4/
In short capitalism is out of control and is creating and will continue to create a system where corporate power outweighs Nation State power and as such is able to control countries. There's that word "control" again... 5/
What this means is that you can buy politicians and buy governments. Think who owns the US gov. Think why the US senate denies climate change. Think who owns Bolsanaro in Brazil and who stands to gain by burning down the Amazon. Think who now owns the UK gov. 6/
We can say that all these corporates will act in the same way, to preserve themselves and maximize profit. They act as one major force in the world continually trying to expand. They act as an empire and it is expanding vertically through society and ofcourse geographically 7/
In order to do this it supports right wing politicians & govs because right wingers believe I free markets, no regs, no rules, little gov, little representation of the people. And so it as that as capitalism matures and shifts to Uber capitalism, the political landscape changes
And that is what is happening. Right wing govs are being supported and funded to do the bidding of the corporate universe. Essentially gov becomes a department labeled "crowd control" 9/
We see puppet politicians spewing right wing libertarian free market doctrine, the ERG... We see millions spent in lobbying companies including pseudo scientific think thanks with pseudo intellectuals preaching free market doctrine, conditioning the people to accept slavery 10/
And with Right wing libertarianism which allows companies to do anything comes a doctrine which permits people to say anything and do anything... the anti respect anti progress regressives... with their bigotry and hatred... in the name of "freedom" 12/
And this permeates through society, attitudes regress, and fascism starts to gain momentum. The rise of the Right is very much linked to the rise of ultra capitalism. And so it is the day comes when fascists are on the streets screaming at a politician that is against them 13/
Needless to say the EU with its regs, rules and rights is contrary to the goals of the ultra capitalist mafia capitalism global state... so it is doing its best to destroy it. #brexit is all about that and that's why those thugs were screaming at Anna... 14/
We must see the bigger picture. We must take firmer hold of the reins of capitalism and evolve to a better model and we must hammer down the shoots of fascism. We must say together "never again." I firmly believe that fundamentally we are better than this. #FBPE #betterfuture
I just want to add, for the benefit of Leavers, there is no upside to #brexit, none. When the country succumbs to total control by corporate power people will get poorer, cost of living rockets, no welfare, no justice, no say, no protection, no rights. Brexit is a con.
Oh and another thing... for Leavers. When there is no gov there are no regulators. No one to talk to when your insurance company fleeces you, or energy companies put up prices again or banks charge more... why do you think call centre staff have become the way they are?

As we approach 2022 it makes me think of one particular thing, the London Olympics in 2012. When one looks back it seems now it was the last remains of the fading light from a country that existed before this government came to power. 1/
Away from the politics for a moment, this country was a different country… a more unified country in a time before brexit even existed. Think about that, think about how devoid the national ether was of political stench and hate mongering. 2/
It was it can be argued socially more advanced, again more down to the longer term general advancement and enlightenment then politics, which came to an abrupt end when this government arrived. They hated it. 3/

Dear friends, I have been thinking about the words of @OxfordDiplomat, inspirational as always, about the need for Starmer to find better words to talk about post brexit, and for me, there is a word and it is “Rebuild”. 1/ #FBPE
We need to rebuild our society. It has been ripped apart by this government from the day they arrived. When they got in power they saw a massive opportunity, given to them by the banker created economic crash, to dismantle the country, behind the masquerade of “austerity”. 2/
“Austerity” was never about saving the country. It was never about economic recovery. It was about them destroying what we had all worked for, a progressive economically successful country and creating the Victorian version they wanted. 3/

How can we put this? Let’s just say that when you have an economic trading framework then trade operates in accordance with that framework. What that means is that a massive complex trading ecosystem has evolved over 40 years we have been part of the European trading union. 1/
40 years is a long time so a massive number over arching agreements have been put in place with an even bigger number of business contracts under that layer, all designed to help people trade with each other easily and on a common basis, hence common market. 2/
This structure has benefitted everyone involved. That’s why they did it in the first place. In fact that’s why trade agreements exist, to facilitate TRADE…. It’s not rocket science 3/

Dear friends, I know that many will have shared their experience of this thing however I wanted to say a few words about my experience that perhaps you can relate to. Everyone is different but this is my experience. 1. #FBPE #GetHealthy
Firstly do not do not underestimate this thing. It is unlike anything I have experienced. It is a cunning opponent and a bastard. About half way it seems I was over it & was more active. It was a mistake & that night I felt it. 2.
Rugby players being the tough old boots they are will often get up when injured, especially the hardy Scots. However there will be times where team mates will say "stay down". It is the same with this. Stay down until it is 100% gone. 3/

A few words of Amazon & their CEO "donating" to climate change. Let's be clear on this, when Amazon don't pay tax they are defunding the state, defunding society. Society is in fact subsidizing them. So when they "donate" money to a cause it is in part out money. #FBPE
And it is our money that is being directed by a CEO of a big US corporation. Why is this significant? Because in a functioning democracy we as a society decide how our tax money is directed by electing governments that decide on spending. 2/
So normally.. society decides through the democratic process how it cares for and supports society, for example, providing welfare, supporting culture, sport, building roads etc. However we are moving to a malfunctioning democracy whereby business decides. 3/

The mission of the AltRight has always been to radicalize the country to their way of thinking. It has been a plague in this land for years. Brexit part of the attack, an event to create a societal civil war. And now we see the consequences of that radicalization. #FBPE 1/
Think about their tactics, their use of inflammatory propaganda, the lies, the imagery to create an enemy, the racism, xenophobia, the anti-Muslim rhetoric of LeaveEU and other Leave campaign fronts. It has been said already but the Nazi parallels and methodology are clear. 2/
Then let's think about the protagonists & preachers, Baker, McVey, Patel to name just a few. Looking at their rantings over the years they could easily have come from religious fundamentalist any where in the world. These are ideological preachers... hate preachers. 3/
