Today would have been Anne Frank’s 90th birthday. I read her diary when I was 14 and she inspired me so so much. A few years later I created @FacesAuschwitz.

This is the book. It’s in bad condition because it was printed in 1974. It belonged to my mother, who asked me to read it when I was 14. I had never heard the word ‘Holocaust’ before then.
I bought this in Amsterdam, in the same bookstore where Otto Frank purchased the diary for Anne’s 13h birthday.
I visited the Anne Frank House as well. Unbelievable experience. I want to go there again.
