[THREAD] Some questions for the Ethereum Foundation.
[1] Does the EF have any other significant cryptocurrency holdings outside of 0xde0B295669a9FD93d5F28D9Ec85E40f4cb697Bae?

(etherscan.io/address/0xde0b…)
[2] How much cash does the EF now have?

(reddit.com/r/ethereum/com…)
[3] What does the EF’s cryptocurrency trading history look like?

(e.g., ETH, BTC from ICO)
[4] What grants are milestone based and how are the deals structured?

(e.g., will milestones grant further funding, what % of these grants are not fully paid out, etc.)

(reddit.com/r/ethereum/com…) Image
[5] What does the EF’s past revenue and future projections look like?

(e.g., DEVcon, aiming to keep x ETH for staking)
[6] What does the EF’s current expenses look like?

(e.g., what is this year’s $20-35m burn going towards - reddit.com/r/ethereum/com…)

(does this overlap with $30m of earmarked grants? how are those structured? - blog.ethereum.org/2019/05/21/eth…)
[7] Is there an updated EF org chart?

()

()

(what’s composition and pay of ‘internal team’ - reddit.com/r/ethereum/com…)
[8] The EF’s main address has sent ETH to 20 addresses.

#1, #2, & #3 all look like they were used to make ‘founder payouts’ (‘endowments’ - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…).

I am not sure of the others aside from Vitalik. LMK if you know.

(etherscan.io/txsInternal?a=…) Image
[9] The #1 address sent to by the EF also made many large txns outside of founder payouts that I am not sure of (besides Vitalik + Wanxiang). LMK if you know.

[10] Thanks for any info!

2/ Blockchains are security systems.

Systems securing new forms of money and apps.

When comparing blockchains, we should focus on relative security.
3/ Bitcoin improved upon all previous digital cash systems by solving the infamous double-spend problem.

By ‘using PoW to make changes to the ledger difficult’, Satoshi eliminated trust and introduced an external cost for any would-be attacker.

1/ [POLL & THREAD]:
What will be the next crypto asset added to Coinbase / GDAX?
2/ I actually asked nearly this exact same question about a year ago:
3/ Back then, voters thought it was the #1 most likely that a privacy focused asset like ZEC or XMR would be added next to Coinbase. This has not yet happened.
