I still can’t get over how presumptuous it is of Trump and the entire GOP to have clearly put all of their eggs in this -take down Hunter Biden to take down Joe Biden- strategy when there’s literally no guarantee that he will be the Democratic nominee in 2020.

I mean I can totally understand how they collectively bought the narrative™️ that Uncle Joe is Trump’s most formidable challenger, and that they desperately hope the D base will believe the same, but damn. Y’all couldn’t have at least waited til after Super Tuesday for this shit?

Even as a predictable propaganda ploy it’s just sloppy, and it lacked the stealth and sophistication necessary to pull something like this off b/c they’re all dumbasses being led by an even bigger dumbass, who’s being led by Putin who just wants to watch the shit show unfold.

Trump’s lack of scruples and impulse control plus his party’s collective refusal to set boundaries for him are the worst things the @GOP has going for itself. They can’t even get their bribery and extortion organized enough to make it work without further self-incrimination.

Trump just keeps running his stupid mouth and they’ve wedded themselves to parroting every lie he tells, so there’s no way they were ever going to be capable of holding their fire for maximum impact this time around the way they did with Comey’s letter in late October 2016.

Even if you buy the notion that they can bumble their way through these hearings and still successfully make Joe’s campaign DOA before the primary votes are tallied, that’s not gonna stop serial criminal Trump from committing more crimes to take down whoever rises in Joe’s place.

Honestly the shit reads like a TV script: idiot sociopath/narcissist watches sensationalist/presumptuous cable “news”, his ego gets injured in a major way b/c the pundits are saying a dude he hates can beat him, he cues haphazard bribery scheme, he gets caught.

Seriously if I was George Soros, or Hillary and Barack’s deep state army, or whoever the liberal media spaghetti monster in the sky is, I would’ve personally ordered Joe Biden to jump into the Democratic primary as impeachable offense bait because just look at the pay dirt...

Ultimately the MSM deserves a dishonorable mention here for peddling inevitability/electability narratives to the public 12 months ahead of the damn primary. They’re literally catalyzing international conspiracies in their haste to create their horse race theatrics.

We have an intellectually deficient, Fox “news” addict/sociopath/Russian plant occupying the WH, yet our nation’s media apparatus persists in feeding him and his enablers more fuel for their shared delusions. None of them has the insight or judgment to change course.

I highly doubt they’re taking stock of the #ImpeachmentHearings in the full context of the role they played in normalizing Trump’s sociopathy or aiding/abetting the *ongoing* cyberattack by peddling propaganda laden narratives, but WE the PEOPLE should damn well be on high alert.

Bottom line is the brazen recklessness of Trump & the GOP is directionally proportional to the brazen recklessness of the media that put them into power. The whole thing is a shit show that cultivates rave reviews because the newspapers “of record” also wrote the batshit script.

They’re selling us a narrative that says an impeachment inducing smear campaign against Joe is warranted/fair game b/c they’re selling a narrative that says Joe is our only hope for removing Trump from the WH b/c they already sold us a narrative that says a woman/POC can’t win.
