Ili uweze kuchangamkia fursa zinazotokana na sheria na kanuni za local content kwenye madini ni lazima kwanza ujue kuna nini jikoni. Kwa ufupi madini ni sekta inayokadiriwa kuzungusha Tsh trilioni 4 kwa mwaka kwenye manunuzi. Sasa tambua ni nini kipo ndani.

The insurable risks relating to Mining activity in the country shall be insured through and indigenous brokerage firm or where applicable on indigenous reinsurance broker

Nikaomba taarifa zao, tukazipitia taarifa zao na kisha wakasajiliwa kama suppliers nilipokuwepo. Wakaanza kidogo kidogo
Nikafanya mazungumzo na Mkurugenzi wao juu ya matakwa ya #localcontent na kwa namna gani wanaweza kunufaika zaidi na sheria hizo.
Lazima watafute wabia wa nje ambao kwa sheria mpya za uwezeshaji wazawa wanaelekezwa kufanya kazi na kampuni za wazawa kwa ubia.
Nikawaunga na kampuni za Australia na Uchina. Jamaa akasafiri kwenda Uchina akafanya mazungumzo na akafunga dili. Kisha jamaa wa Australia wakaja Tanzania wakakutana wakafunga dili.

Mwaka 2018 nikiwa kwenye majukumu yangu nilifuatwa na supplier mmoja wa bidhaa za migodini. Akaniambia natafuta fursa ya ku-supply hapo 'kwenu'. Nikamuambia nitumie profaili yenu halafu tutawasiliana.
