Jogye 조계 (溪宗), the Korean branch of dhyana (chán, sôn 선 禪), but that rely more on sūtra study and pure land (chôngt'ojong 정토종 淨土宗) and tiantai (ch'ônt'ae 천태 天台) influences than other mainstream Zen schools.
The name is derived from the village where Chán Patriarch Dajian Huineng (大鑒惠能, 638–713)'s home temple, Nanhua Temple, is located, (曹溪 cáo xī = chogye/jogye 조계).
Order Korean patriarch is Jinul Puril Bojo Daesa (보조지눌 普照知訥, 1158–1210), from Goryeo era.

His tolerance and open-mindness can, actually, be dated back to late Silla's Wonhyo (원효 元曉 617-686), who concilied tathāgatagarbha, yogācāra and avatamsaka philosophy.
Famous his commentary on the Awakening on the Fait of Mahāyāna (大乘起信論 *Mahāyāna-śraddhotpādaśāstra). Worth saying Wonhyo influenced in a meaningful way Fazang, who also was a friend with Uisang (의상 義湘 625–702), who was also a close friend of him.
A good representation of Jogye doctrine (among others) is in my opinion the classical masterpiece
