I have converted my leftist friend in support of #CAB. They are just highly ignorant of facts. Opposition has succeeded in spreading paranoia among them. Let's face it with light of truth. Debate them, don't troll.

Friend: Why make muslims secondary class citizens?

Me: #CAB is in no way related to Indian muslims. It just gives citizenship to religious minorities of neighbouring Islamic republics. (1)

Friend: What about Rohingya or Lanka Tamils?

Me: They are waging violent secessionist movement against Myanmar & SriLanka. There's a political angle to it. Moreover these countries aren't partitioned from India based on religion. Also Rohingyas have Bangladesh to go. (2)

Friend: Why exclude Shias or Ahmadiyyas of Pakistan?

Me: They are muslims in an Islamic republic. Their situation is not as bad as it portrayed. Actually Jinnah is a Shia. And these muslims have 40+ Islamic countries to go. Where can Hindus or Sikhs go except India? (3)

Friend: #CAB along with future #NRC makes muslims non citizens.

Me: NRC implemented in Assam. All muslims got excluded? No. And why to oppose a bill that saves persecuted people due to some predictions arose from paranoia? Demand safeguards instead of hateful opposition. (4)
