#Telangana CM #KCR announced that #YadadriTemple will be reopened in March 2022 with 'Maha Kumbha Samprokshanam' which includes performing Maha Sudarshana Yagna with 1008 kundas.

#Yadadri temple was redeveloped by KCR led #TRS govt with over ₹ 800 crores. Sudarshana yagam will be performed by 9,000 brahmanas in presence of gurus & peetadipatis from across India.

#Telangana govt deceided to coat main vimana of #YadadriTemple with gold. It requires 125 kg gold which will be collected from devotees. Already CM #KCR gave 1 kg gold.

Today is the jayanthi of Pujyashri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal🙏(1894-1994), the 68th Shankaracharya of Kanchi. Jagadguru became matadhipathi at a young age of 13 in 1907. He set out from Kumbhakonam in 1919 on a 'Vijaya Yatra.' (1) It lasted 20 long years covering most of South India & many sacred cities in North. During this, Paramacharya began his journey in a palanquin but soon gave it up & covered 5,000 km from Rameswaram to Kasi on foot in a journey lasting for 21 years. (2)

Kumara Kampana, a prince in 14th century Vijayanagara empire defeated Madurai Sultanate & liberated Hindus from muslim rule. Thus he also reopened the doors of Meenakshi temple. His wife Gangadevi, documented this in her Samskrit epic poem 'Madhura Vijayam'. (1/4)
