Maybe she is hired exactly for this. Or maybe there are little checks/references when people come on board in digital. Both scenarios are scary. Bias in writing is open. Objectivity of reportage not needed. And this is future of media envisaged by the founders of @thewire_in
Sharjeel Imam use to write for digital media portals. Isn't this enough indication of the rot inside the newsrooms (if they exist) in the digital media? Did anyone cross-checked? Did anyone found out his links? Who tried to mainstream his views?
The entire conduct of media in #CAA_NRCProtests has been questionable. No one is doing journalism. Everyone is allowing the fake narrative on what is #CAA to be peddled for their own agenda. In this mess, Deepak Chaurasia is not 'good' journo and Arfa is. What a mess
