This is my response to @PresWrightonGW the President of @GWtweets new statement on my post.

I weclome the decision from GW to admit it’s a mistake to take down my art.

However, stopping wrongdoing won’t just fix the damage already done.

2. I weclome the decision from GW to clean the name of my art from CSSA and CCA‘s “racist calling smear campaign” and admit it is a mistake to take down my art.

However, just stopping wrong doing will not fix the damage cauaed by this very action of GW.

3. And here is what GW could do to make it right.

1.The posters are taken down by GW as a mistake. To fix this, GW should put the posters back. Perhaps even better to introduce a permanent display of the art in the Campus.

1. Chinese Culture Association from @GWtweets uses Wechat to launch a new witch-hunt against my #beijing2022 protest art.
it claims, GWU’s new president @PresWrightonGW said he was personally offended by my art.
I’d kindly ask Mr wrighton why art critcising CCP would offend him?

2. In this new letter form CCA, it calls my art about CCP’s crimes against Tibetans HKers and Uyghur are controversial and violent.

But why does CCA not denounce CCP’s Uyghur genocide as racist n hateful but call my art depicting this human rights disaster is too violent ?!

3. Again CCA tried to pin my art with “Chinese Virus” Accusation

But my art is explicitly targeting CCP
Yes i would call it CCP virus.

thats because the 5 star flag 🇨🇳 never represents China's culture people or history but CCP‘s dominance.

However my criticism is clearly downplayed and heavily edited into pieces.

This thread will explore how it is problematic and why NBC did it.

2/ This interview has 2 important elements：

A：How Chinese government enforce censorship & threat to me/ my family just for being an artist.

B：my #NFT project of 5 olympic protest design
censorship is the reason for me to choose NFT

but the clip completely removed part A.

3/ the remove of part A：ccp censorship， spared Beijing‘s aggression towards to free speech

as for part B
I explained all 5 designs which shows 5 human rights abuse in China：Uyghur， HK，Tibet， digital surveillance & covid censorship
But only one is properly shown & discussed

1. Today I finished my residence in Brescia Italy for my solo exhibition.
It has been a wonderful art journey and full of adventure from China embassy’s threat to death warning of CGTN and Chinese nationalists.
This thread will take you to some of works exhibited in this show.

2. “Carrie Xi” is first work in the show as well as the poster design.
I intentionally choose it because my forced cancelled show “Gongle” in HK used the same poster.

Its a new version of oil painting different from its original digital version.
Its my statement to censorship！

All works here have an intimate relation to me personally from the masks I used while i was hiding from CCP to the Tiger Chair i bought from Taobao.
