Last Tuesday my beloved sister who studies in @GhiyasuddinIS was nearly poisoned by one of her classmates. She had put hand sanitizer in my sister’s water bottle while she was at the library. This was not the first time something like this happened her.
She has been a victim of bullying over a year now and yet the school’s management has not taken any serious actions against these kind of cases. Even from the recent event, @GhiyasuddinIS did not take this problem as seriously as they should have.
If the school management does not take any actions against these kind of cases, how can these problems be solved? If this continues to happen, the one who gets affected by this are the victims.
The punishment they gave to the one who committed this was very small compared to what she did. More actions need to be taken against the bully.
At first, the school refused to tell us what actions they were going to take. Only after a post about the incident went viral did they call us back in and told us about the bully being isolated for a week or so. They also informed us they didnt believe in suspension and the
situation had been handled according to their disciplinary guidelines. The reason why I believe they dont think this warrants a suspension is because my sister didnt drink the water which had handsantizer mixed inside. I believe it shouldn't have to happen for them to this
to take it seriously. Also the management believes that changing my sisters class is a moot point since her bully and she would see eachother in school. They somehow plan to keep my sister and her bully together and hope for a friendship to blossom between them. It’s outrageous.
Maybe someday my sister could forget this incident and all the others before this. But I know that right now the thought of having to share a classroom with her bully makes my sister feel unsafe. The management even tried to turn this whole thing around and asked for depression
in my family history. I believe it has nothing to do with this situation but they are convinced my sister is depressed and they even suggested something along the lines of her probably thinking way much of the situation.
