Whether on the basis of religion, colour or access to housing, health or food, the fight is always the same.. to defeat a corrupt system institutionalised by a rigid status quo of discriminatory practices that hoards the resources of the state for the benefit of a privileged few
Today we face that same struggle against an even more corrupt establishment backed by powerful allies in the right wing media & helped by foreign powers intent on destroying the very institutions that might redress our situation to provide adequate health, housing & right to food
To those that would destroy the independence of the judiciary and civil service, the right to adequate welfare benefits, home or affordable rents , you are not liberators or champions for justice or a northern powerhouse or take back control. You are part of the same problem!
You do not represent the will of the people but instead are the enemies of the people. You are the ones to turn a blind eye to their needs to destroy communities in the name of the most vacuous terms in the Brexit bible or dictionary of ‘Brexit means Brexit’ or ‘Get Brexit Done’.
So when you fail to honour agreement on a trade deal with the EU and the realities of ‘Brexit means Brexit’ starts to come home to roost from next year, we who do care about not just fish will march against your government & those who have profited from this mess whom you elected
Yours is the anger and shame that will replace your blind pursuit of a right of independence to self-harm, like a dog chasing its tail and not being able to work out why you believed in phoney liars or did what you did to bring unnecessary pain upon your communities & families.
The legacy of Brexit will rain down hard on us all but we will march once again until the corridors of power echo to the sound of our feet and those who led this shameful exit from our nearest allies amid a conspiracy of lies, dark money and foreign interference face punishment!
