It’s the same old Tory donor merry go round that keeps on turning behind the scenes and buys its way into the heart of government approved business deals. From Brexit to Grenfell to the DUP toxic deal, money is always behind whatever goes on that has a bad smell to it!
The extent of damage done by bad planning approval deals is often catastrophic for those who have to live in housing developments that bypasses proper building controls and council planning regulations whilst paying large mortgages or high rent.
The trust of northern communities in Johnson’s government has already been put to the test during the recent floods when the government was slow to respond with adequate support for local businesses affected that is further damaged by the fast tracking of donor planning approval
It’s all going on at Tory HQ and more revelations of such sweetheart deals for Tory donors is not going to endear this government one bit to the very electorate they promised to serve and reward for their loyalty and trust by putting them in No. 10!
