This chart does not account for size of population when comparing infection rate or the minuscule amount of deaths. China has 1.4B people, four times the population of the US qt 327m. Italy is 60m, Iran 80m and South Korea has only 50m people. Note how steep the US curve is.
What is surprising is the death rate is double among men and almost always in the elderly. This global effort to slow transmission is really about preserving a very small group of elders with compromised health or in their later years. Those born in 1950 and before.
The traditional flu shot is a constant battle to identify and isolate the strain and then hope the vaccine matches the actual strain the person is expose to. Every year, slightly new forms of flu are created in different regions. cdc.gov/flu/highrisk/6…

14th February is a really significant day in Bahrain’s history. First in 2000, the National Action Charter, a document that promised democratic reforms and freedoms to the people, was confirmed in a referendum by the 98.4% of the electorate and promptly enacted.
Then in 2002, on the 14th of February, a new constitution was enacted in Bahrain that transformed the country from a State (دولة) to a Kingdom (مملكة). The then Emir, Sheikh Hamad became Bahrain’s first King and brought about many changes to Bahrain’s democratic landscape.
The Constitution of 2002 guaranteed a bicameral legislature, an upper house called the Shura Council, whose members are appointed by the King and a lower house called the House of Representatives, whose members are directly elected by the people in regular free & fair elections.

Recently I posted on third country (MFN) tariffs as a way of arguing against a claim that the EU has "very high tariff walls".
Comments under the thread made me realise a lot of ppl are still confused about non-tariff barriers and how they work

By now most ppl know that tariffs are not the main issue. Thanks to multilateral tariff liberalisation under the WTO rounds, tariffs are much lower now than several decades ago.
Non-tariff barriers to trade (NTBs), on the other hand, have not really been tackled

That's one of the reasons why trade facilitation efforts and the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement are such a big thing at the moment. One of the first coordinated efforts to address NTBs.

1/ There’s a new multiplayer game out in the market. It’s called LIFE.

I’m half way through it, so thought of reviewing my experience of it so far. I’ll try publishing the full review once I’m done playing.

Here's my review.
2/ It’s hard to pick a genre to categorize this game into. The gameplay differs from player to player, and in fact it could change while you’re playing it. It really is a genre-busting game.
3/ Unlike most other MMORPGs, you cannot customize your character in the game. The skin color and other accessories available to you seem to be randomly determined.

Plus, each player starts with vastly different powers – you can get any level of wealth, status when you begin.
