So confused!

@DonaldJTrumpJr is a businessman, walled off from his father's administration, so surely "team" can't be referencing anything political

✅But @realDonaldTrump is walled off from his businesses, so "team" can't refer to those either.

@DonaldJTrumpJr @realDonaldTrump Given the public-service angle of providing a dozen or so pics of The MyPillow Guy at Trump properties, today's @1100Penn was free.

I have some thoughts, follow along!

@1100Penn @realDonaldTrump First off, before he'd been allowed to plug @MyPillowUSA in the Rose Garden, CEO @realMikeLindell donated more than $370,000 to GOP candidates and causes. That's a lot!

NEW: @realDonaldTrump political appointee landed new position after allegedly being injured at Trump Hotel DC.

After glass allegedly gashed her chin, Commerce Dept. staffer scored new position, advising Trump-appointed exec at World Bank

via @1100Penn bit.ly/3aW9bLl
In Nov, Cameron Dorsey sued the Trump Hotel DC, alleging glass flew off a champagne bottle opened with a saber and gashed her chin.

Court docs filed this week and social media confirm Dorsey had worked for the Commerce Dept. at the time.

via @1100Penn bit.ly/3aW9bLl
@1100Penn In Dec. 2019, @1100Penn first reported on Dorsey's suit against Trump Hotel DC alleging a shard of glass flew off a sabered champagne bottle and opened a gash on her chin.

bit.ly/34ennLy
@1100Penn At the time of @1100Penn's initial report, multiple sources and circumstantial evidence made it appear the person suing the president's DC hotel also had been one of his political appointees.

But, despite a lot of effort, I wasn't able to nail it down.

bit.ly/34ennLy
The suit itself had little info on the plaintiff: name, an address, her allegations.

A quick search found someone with the same name had been a Trump political and now worked at the World Bank.

But none of the info on that person overlapped with the scant details in the suit.
But a new filing on Mon included names of potential witnesses.

And their social media profiles contained ample evidence that the plaintiff was in fact a former Commerce Dept. staffer now advising a Trump-appointed exec at the World Bank.

via @1100Penn bit.ly/3aW9bLl
Another conflict—

Both the president's business and the World Banker staffer suing it list a senior US gov't employee as a witness.

This person did land his gov't job until after the alleged incident occurred.

@1100Penn @realDonaldTrump RE: Trump's appeal before SCOTUS right now—±

Only witnessed oral arguments six or so times, so this is very much a layperson's opinion, but the House's attorney seems unprepared.
@1100Penn @realDonaldTrump Aside: If you get the chance once were out of isolation, attend SCOTUS arguments. Absolutely fascinating, even if it's a case you're not all that interested in.
Kagan just asked the House attorney a couple of questions that seem designed to bolster his performance.
When justices ask for hypotheticals or examples, House attorney repeatedly has began his answer with, "I'm having trouble thinking of..." (or words to that effect).
Bryer also's not impressed with the House attorney's performance.

The justice is not buying the argument that these subpoenas put no burden on the president.
Trump's attorney just made note of this in rebuttal

With House arguments over, its attorney did not help a case that most analysis I've read said favored his client.
