Why? 1) Average was done with selective use of evidence, only picking April 3rd through April 6th, and that's how you can get a an avg "a little above 40". Had they included April 7th (76 more cases) the average would be off
2) Averages in a time of growth of deaths like Sweden is now make zero sense. April 7th and April 8th have seen a rise of 76 and 114 new cases. Overall direction is upward
