The truth is that Med Aid Schemes are a setup for the service suppliers to make money. People receive excellent care in Scandinavian countries. WC provides the best public health system in SA. Clinical standards compare with the best anywhere.
The difficulty is that the ANC has been waging an ideological warfare with the WC rather than focus on service excellence for all despite Mandela warning to the contrary. Very sad.
My advice to @CyrilRamaphosa is to adopt the following as his legacy focus areas:
1) Make the public health system operate at same level as that of WC everywhere. It's just a matter of leadership.

Just do these four things aggressively and tell your Alliance partners to go on a hike. You will go down in history as a transformative leader of the democratic era. But for all these things to happen, you need courage fortitude, and bravery.
