Any plan about restructuring the business model of an airline must be about its route structure and operating cost management. But the route structure of SAA has already been drastically reformed without a clear recovery strategy.!!

What then is this new plan now due end of March?? There is no possibility of anything conceptually superior to what was conceived before that the BRP can magically propose. Even with their very costly US advisors. And there is no rational basis for such
a plan not to have been released in 60 days of BRP process if they knew what they were doing.Frankly this extension is totally unwarranted and irrational. I'm ready to defend my position against the best in the world in this field. What's the matter with us??
There is only one solution for SAA international. It should not take more than even a week to figure that out if your knowledge of the business has substance. We have thrown at least two reputable global firms at this problem in the past 8yrs.
But we failed spectacularly to implement the solutions. And we now remarkably think the BRP with no evident knowledge of the industry can develop a conceptually superior solution? We seem to have a penchant to create tragedies for ourselves.
