This isn’t a partisan issue here in the residential areas of Capitol Hill. Whether liberal or conservarive, most are alarmed about this. Many are federal workers. Most agree that this sets an unnecessary and dangerous precedent. @ChrisPlanteShow @MayorBowser
It was 11th and Constitution NE, not NW. My mistake.
Most of the police officers are fine. They're very devoted to their public duty. It's the "just following orders" part that's so troublesome. The line between legal and illegal orders has started to become blurred.
