Charles balance throughout the block seems to an issue. Illustrated here Charles fires at the inside stunt leaving a wide open path to Burrow. Charles is a good pass off blocker, seems to a lapse of judgement more than anything. #KroenickFilm

Jennings initially beats Charles with his hands and Charles tries to recover, however he overextends himself by being flustered. If the play had lasted longer it could have been bad news. #KroenickFilm

Charles does a great job of coming out of his stance low and stays with Jennings, keeping his hands on his chest. First step should be deeper. If it were Charles wouldn’t have to speed up to keep up. #KroenickFilm

Charles over commits again to the inside pass rush move by Jennings, which is a designed stunt. Luckily for Charles the play moves right eliminating the free rusher. #KroenickFilm

Charles can be too heavy at times by getting beat with bull rush moves. He does a great job here of using his balance and form to sustain control of the block. Keeping Jennings close is all he needs to do. #KroenickFilm

Charles showing off his potential as a LT with this rep, great feet/TE puts him at an advantage with his body and wingspan. Acting as a glove for a flyball he waits for Jennings and stops him in his tracks. Highlighting Charles strong hands. #KroenickFilm

Awareness is a major + at the next level and Charles puts that on display here presnap. Talking to the guard about the incoming read blitz, Charles takes the outside rusher and bear hugs him out of the play. #KroenickFilm

Charles gets away with one here but I like his attitude of doing whatever is necessary to save the play. Poor footwork from Charles gave the rusher a clear lane at the football. Sometimes you get lucky but -10 yards can destroy drives. #KroenickFilm

Evidence of Charles being top heavy and not using his base as an anchor or a foundation. The rusher over powers Charles and walks him back to nearly Burrows lap. #KroenickFilm

Charles works well with his LG to combo block the End upfield sealing the run lane for CHE.
