Paid a visit to the designated #COVID19 Hospital, amidst claims and counter claims in regards to the preparedness of the Hospital. Concluded that, the tall claims of the Govt is not in synced with the ground reality vis-a-vis the preparedness to treat COVID19 patients 1/-

The number of ICU beds with ventilators are just a mere 4 Nos. There is a shortage of PPEs even for working Doctors which makes it a challenge to equipped the nurses.Regarding the substandard and poor quality of the available PPEs, the government promptly replaced them. 2/-

The quick response in this regard is much appreciated, however the question remains if all the hospitals in other districts have also been replaced/provided with quality PPEs. Also quality WHO recommended N-95 masks is yet to be made available for use. 3/-

Coming to another area of concern, our Doctors and Nurses who are tirelessly and selflessly working round the clock in the designated COVID19 hospital, have to worry about fooding as the government has not done anything to alleviate their struggle in this regard. 4/-

We are facing an unprecedented crisis, sufficient and nutritious food should be made available so that they can perform at their optimum levels.

While appreciating the current pace of the government in responding to issues, it is miles and miles away from being 'well-prepared' as such I request the government not to mislead by giving out false statements but rather accept their shortcomings and work sincerely 6/-

towards achieving and providing us with well equipped hospital. When the people of the State by and large are co-operating with each and every decision and guidelines of the Government, they should not be taken for granted and fed with false sense of security. 7/-

Lastly, I would like to give my deep appreciation and gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses who are working tirelessly to help fight against COVID19 despite the risk involved as a result of many shortcomings. 8/-

Let us remember them in our prayers and seek Divine intervention to keep them safe and sound so that they can continue to stand and fight in our stead.
