Anecdotally, it is believed that homeschooling teachers are turning to wine and vodka to get through the day. We have no hard data to back this up. While you're tipsy teaching, remember to not drive. Here are some lesson plans:
Science: Teach little Tammy how hand washing stops your grubby hands from touching grubby surfaces that spread grubby diseases. This can and should be a practical exercise, with teacher participation.
Here's a sample math problem: Timmy has Rona. Timmy doesn't wash his hands. Timmy touches 3 surfaces, and each surface is touched by 4 people. How many people has grubby Timmy infected?
Civics: Show Tammy how you fill out your census form, so that when grubby Timmy infects 12 people with Rona, at least the local government will get their fair share of government funding to respond.
Art: Draw something. Anything. Just draw a picture. And when you're done drawing, wash your grubby hands, Timmy.
Gym: Send Timmy and Tammy outside to ride their bikes, cuz that margarita ain't gonna make itself. But remember, and seriously, if you must drive, you must #DriveSober, and if alcohol abuse is a problem, even during a pandemic, help is available.
