A number of issue emerged from BBC Question Time which has shown the government to be dragging its feet as usual in dealing with the Coronavirus Crisis:

1. The Social Care side of the Department of Health is the Cinderella of a system heavily underfunded.

2. The underfunding of the Social Care side of national health has been so for the past two decades by both Tory and Labour governments.

3. A decade of Tory underfunding through austerity measures has significantly deepened that crisis in funding.👇

4. We have 1.2 million care workers throughout the UK living on the minimum wage. That must end!

5. Business: The government has bailed out the large companies at the expense of the SMB's who are offered only 80% of their loan free. The other 20% must be paid for by themselves!

6. There have been approximately 300,000 applications for UK government help from SMB's since it was announced but only 6,000 have to date received help.

7. The Swiss on the other hand provide 100% funding of SMB's and it is available within 48 hours.

8. The UK government has set a target of 100,000 tests per week within the next fortnight. It is dubious if the government will achieve that figure by the deadline set.

9. On the other hand, Germany is currently testing 500,000 citizens per week.

10. Both governments started off with their first cases of Coronavirus around the same time. Germany has a stronger pharmaceutical industry & a qualified scientist & proactive leader from day 1.

11. Germany has much lower numbers of cases and deaths from Coronavirus.

12. The UK has failed to prepare & has an absentee PM well over 5 weeks into the crisis!
