People, today we are going to turn back time to the beginning of March.
And trust me when I say these findings are sobering to the least.
Welcome to the #Covid19 National Guidance from that time.
First stop: PPE. Look at what was advised then -for cases *assessment*.
1/n
Now look what is recommended now.
Has the disease become less infectious or deadly since March?
(Link to the videos here : )
Now let's take a look at the definition of "contact" -at the time, requiring a test when it occurs.
Where we are now:
No more "for any length of time"
Now the advice is:
"Short lived exposure?
Just get back to work, and don't worry until you're sick."
Before:
No discharge before testing.
5/n
Now:
No testing before to send patients to care homes to make some room (supposed to have changed but the guidance hasn't)
Discharge of *recovering* respiratory function/fever
Testing? Guidance for what to do when it doesn't happen means it doesn't necessarily happen.

Now let's take a look at the *SCIENCE* that UK govt listened to on March 5.
The *SCIENCE* that was there for everyone to see on their own website.

1 week later: What science had become 👇
Was the virus less contagious/deadly?
On the contrary, there was plenty of evidence if anything, China had minimized how contagious/deadly it was.
And yet UK govt decided not to follow its own guidance anymore

So don't let them get away with "not our fault we followed science", or blaming China/@who/ anyone
On March 5 #Covid19 was classified as a HCID disease -which it still is- and appropriate measures were advised
Then UK govt decided to go for "herd immunity" nonsense
When they knew
Oh BTW
Last nail in the coffin of #HerdImmunity
Never forget: They knew what to do and decided to do otherwise nevertheless.
Don't let them get away with it.

Note: I told you Covid19 still is a HCID -as it fits the criteria.
Nevertheless UK govt decided otherwise after announcing herd immunity, saying:
Death toll is low (*if* &only if it’s under control)
Testing capacity was there/increasing (where did it go?)
The data that was available then was the data of confined countries -and Italy.
What it showed was that the disease needed to be controlled.
The very next day pubs were closed.
Four days after that lockdown was announced.
-As the disease was now not that bad after all...
But why say the disease ain’t that bad at the very moment govt tells people extraordinary measures are necessary?
Here’s why.
The required safe PPE/HCID treatment centers weren’t there.
So they needed not to be needed.
Let me introduce you to the PPE healthcare staff should have been provided with if Covid19 hadn’t be declared ”not a HCID anymore” (pages weren’t saved, but screenshot is enough).
Look at it and think of all the sick/dead doctors/nurses/carers.
This was a political decision.
So that’s why Covid19 had not to be a HCID.
Because while it was, you couldn’t go for: “reuse unreusable PPE” or “go back to work if you have been exposed“.
Let it be called what it is would have forced the govt to protect doctors/nurses/carers/patients
