COVID-19: U.S.-onset history lesson. I will park this here for ease of access & ability to send history revisionists a reasoned discussion of recent facts, & thereby gracefully bow out from attempts to engage me in discussions of the subject.
At least I will park the information for enough time to create a number of tweets worthy of a threadreader unroll, which I can then convert to a pdf & download to my email for archiving; in this way keeping, as I have long intended, political imprints off my Twitter stream.
My other interest in placing the topic here is to see how many people unfollow me for merely posting this elected official’s public recounting of recent factual information; a sorting mechanism of sorts.
One might ask themselves my motive in featuring the issue herein. My mindset had preforming in the early era of HIV. Before the virus was identified, I treated hundreds of those diagnosed with natural therapies and published my studies in a book in 1986.
In mid-1980’s, I hosted a series of Symposia, Advance Immune Discoveries Symposia in SF & LA, whereat about 2 dozen medical professionals & other degreed experts offered alternative data and theories about causation & treatment.
I published a book, “AIDS Inc” about causation & governmental responses. Dynamic evolution of early HIV culture has many parallels with current COVID-19. Official theories of causation discounted health of body terrain, natural therapies, & benefits of fortifying body systems.
Amongst AIDS patients only certain people became infected, & a certain set of idiosyncratic habits seemed potentiating. Amongst COVID-19 patients, certain body nutrient & immune deficits seem potentiating. Most people under 50 who die are obese.
During the early AIDS epidemic, talk of a vaccine waned as a plethora of potent pharmaceuticals were developed. Currently, a vaccine is touted the “Holy Grail” for COVID-19. A handful of older pharmaceuticals with empiric evidence vs. COVID-19 are dismissed out of hand.
Since early 1980’s, era of early HIV studies, the government researchers & vaccine developers have adapted a marked increased fervor for vaccine development, possibly due to legislation that rendered medication injuries the liability of US government & not the pharmacy companies.
In 1800’s, leading “microbe hunters” of ilk of Pasteur & Koch informed us that infections were result of “terrain” of body. The AIDS epidemic taught same lesson. Now we see the obese & diabetic as prime COVID-19 targets.
It is worthy of observation that anti-HIV vaccine was never developed. I suspect that market for such a vaccine is not wanting. Perhaps no company was able to accomplish this goal. The COVID-19 virus has some spike-coat proteins generated by genetic code found in HIV.
These are very interesting times, & the clinical & scientific lessons we are about to learn will likely lead to magnificent discoveries.
